[AD-GIFTED] LILY LULU QUILTED FAUX FUR HOODED COAT

Well Hello Autumn!!

Autumn is the perfect season for walks in the park, searching for conkers, kicking those crispy autumn leaves!! A must have for Autumn is a warm, waterproof coat with a huge hood! This coat from Lily Lulu ticks all of the boxes and is also gorgeous.

I went for Black as most of my boots are black and I needed a new black coat. This style also comes in Red, Mustard and Khaki so it's a great find.

It's super cosy, the puffer style makes it feel big warm and comfy! I love all of the gold hardware and the gold buckles are lovely. It also has a couple of zips on the back at the bottom which look nice too. It just makes the coat look really expensive and not plain.

Its a short length coat, it looks a little longer on me as i'm short and was also wearing a high waist skirt.  It's a nice length, perfect for wearing with jeans, a skirt or dress!

The main feature of this coat is the huge faux fur trim on the hood, this is detachable which is fab! Sometimes I like to take the fur off my coats to switch it up a little so it looks like a new coat. The faux fur trim is perfect for the autumn winter months and makes this coat super cosy for the cooler days.

It's such good quality and feels really sturdy and much more expensive than the price!

Overall i'm super happy with my new coat, i'd happily pay £65 for it, i've actually been eyeing up the Mustard one. It's such good quality and looks fab. It's going to be perfect for autumn/ winter especially my cold morning walks to work.

* disclaimer, this coat has been gifted in return of a review on my blog.

LIFESTYLE: WHAT TO LOOK FOR WHEN BUYING A CAR

Cars can be quite expensive and so when you’re shopping for one, you want to ensure you get the best deal and the most out of your money. Here’s what to look for when buying a car.

Look At What’s Available For Your Budget
Instead of shopping for cars that are way out of your price range, it’s a good idea to start your search with the right budget. Think about what you can reasonably afford and then whether there are any payment options out there that will help bump up your budget a little more so that you can get the best car out there. Try to avoid looking at any cars outside of your budget as that will only lead to you feeling blue about not being able to afford certain makes or models. Always keep your budget at the forefront when shopping for the car.
Seek Out The Offers
There may be plenty of offers on at the moment with specific car makes and you might not have stumbled upon them yet. Some car dealerships will offer certain discounts if that car brand is having a sale on some of their models. You might even find some offers on new Land Rover vehicles if you’re lucky.
Test The Car Out
Regardless of whether it’s a new or used car, it’s important that you test the car out on the road to get a feel for it. It might look good enough from a visual point of view, but it could be uncomfortable for you as a driver to drive. With used cars, this is crucial that you test drive it because there may be faults with it that have not to be disclosed by the seller. So take it out for a test drive and be sure to give it a good run before signing it over to yourself.

Looking at cars to buy can be fun. You get to choose between scoping out a brand new Mini or looking at Mercedes used cars, what colour and size you need, and even think of new ways to accessorise your new car. However, the actual process of buying a car can be quite stressful.

Make Sure You Have All The Paperwork
Like any big purchase, you’re going to want to have all the paperwork provided that tells you the car is fit for the road and that it’s passed any tests such as the MOT. You’ll also need this paperwork for when you get the relevant road insurance and insurance for the actual car. Also if anything were to go wrong, you’ve got the evidence to prove that you may have been missold the vehicle.
Do A Visual Check
And finally, it’s important that everything from a visual point of view looks good. Check the interior to make sure all the dials, seating, and dashboard areas are in excellent condition. Check the outside of the car for any scratches or deep marks that might cost a bit to fix. Check the lights and the tires to ensure they’re all working properly.
Buying a car is something you should be taking seriously, and it’s very important that you take all the necessary steps to get the right car for you. Take your time, do your research, and stick to your budget to avoid overspending.

LIFESTYLE: 3 WAYS TO A LESS-STRESSED OUT YOU

So, how are you feeling today?

If your answer is "completely stressed out," then that is no good at all. In the end, your stress will negatively affect your health, not only on a mental level but on a physical level too. You can read more here; https://www.healthline.com/health/stress/effects-on-body#3

If you are feeling the effects of stress, then you need to take the appropriate steps to help yourself.

Here are our suggestions.

Step #1: Stop doing those things that will stress you out

Unfortunately, we are sometimes to blame for the stress in our lives. We smoke nicotine and drink alcohol, two stimulants that negatively affect our stress levels. We hang out with people who bring us down, and who talk and behave in such a way that causes us to feel stress in our lives. And we eat sugary foods that cause our body to crash and we  consequently feel more stressed out due to our tiredness and irritability. To reduce your level of stress then, you should cut out these things, focussing instead on habits that will instill a positive mindset. Seek help for any addiction problems, eat stress-busting foods, swap alcohol for water and natural fruit juices, and if you have any toxic friends in your life, consider ditching them for people who will lift you up rather than bring you down.

Step #2: Engage in more physical activity

This is a proven way to combat stress. When we engage in exercise, we release feel-good chemicals into our brain, and these alleviate any pent-up tensions, leading to a calmer, more relaxed mood state. You should take time to exercise each day then, perhaps by finding things to do that you will enjoy, such as taking part in active hobbies that you won't consider a chore. You might also go for a brisk walk every time your stressors threaten to overwhelm you, as you might then be able to get a better perspective on them and calm yourself down.

Step #3: Find ways to relax at home

Firstly, consider your home environment. Is it conducive to relaxation? If you are surrounded by clutter, you might want to find ways to clear the mass of stuff you have somehow accumulated. By selling, donating, or using storage facilities, such as https://www.magentastorage.co.uk/, you will be able to reclaim your space at home and live in a tidier environment. As the saying goes, a tidy house leads to a tidy mind.

Secondly, make changes to your home to improve your stress level. We suggested ideas here, http://www.amypyt.com/2018/08/lifestyle-we-know-these-will-make-you.html, so take a look at our article. And then look for activities that will calm you. So, you might take up meditation, try indoor hobbies that will make you happy, and take up journaling to release your negative thoughts onto paper.

These are our suggestions, and we hope they are useful to you. Let us know what you think, and if you have taken further steps to bring about a less-stressed you, be sure to share your ideas with us too.

Thanks for reading.

LIFESTYLE: 4 WAYS TO ATTAIN A CLUTTER-FREE HOME

Are you striving to attain a clutter-free home?

Many of us do, as not only will we finally get to enjoy our surroundings more if we make more space, but we will also be less prone to stress, as a tidy house makes for a tidy mind, or so they say!

Thankfully, your dream of a clutter-free home can come true if you act on the following.

#1: Don't let clutter in

This is a no-brainer, as the less you carry through your front door, the less clutter you will have to deal with.

So, when you're out shopping, don't give in to the temptation to buy those items that you don't really need. If you're offered freebies on the high street or at your local store, don't accept them. And if you find discarded but perfectly acceptable furniture somewhere within your locale, don't assume it has to be you that should give it a new home. You need willpower and the ability to say 'no,' both to others and to yourself when you are given the chance to acquire something that is only going to clutter up your living space.

#2: Regularly de-clutter your home

About once every 2-3 months (or sooner if necessary), go through the items in your home. If you regret buying something, for whatever reason, or if you have any items that you just don't like or need anymore, then consider getting rid of them. You can do this charitably by donating them to worthy causes, or you could make a profit by selling unwanted items online. And if you're unsure about anything, you could box up smaller items and put larger items in personal storage, and if you later realise you haven't missed them at all, you might then get rid of them in whatever way necessary.

#3: Create more storage

You need to be careful here, as if you were to fill your home with storage boxes and the like, then you might only end up with more clutter than you started with. Still, you could designate a specific part of your home for storage, so for items that don't need to be used regularly; you could store them away neatly in boxes or filing cabinets where they can be out of sight and out of mind until you need them. You might also replace older furniture with those pieces that have in-built storage, as you would then have more space for your stuff, without filling your space needlessly with extra furnishings.

#4: Manage your mail

When we talk about clutter, we aren't only referring to items we have bought or been gifted. We are also talking about the mass of paper clutter that can permeate our homes, normally because of those blasted utility bills and junk mail offerings that fall through our letterboxes. To manage your bills, you might want to create a filing system using a plastic wallets folder or a filing cabinet to store them, or you could sign up to online billing, so you don't have to suffer the paper alternative. And for junk mail, you might want to stick a sign on your door to remind your mailman (and any leaflet canvasser) that you don't accept any junk, or you could use this opt-out page to minimise the problem.

Finally

A clutter-free home can be yours, so follow these simple steps to attain it. You might then start to enjoy your home more, without having to worry about missed bills because you can't find them amongst your mass of paper, or causing yourself an injury because you are struggling to move around in your own property.

Let us know your de-cluttering tips too, for the sake of our readers!
