LIFESTYLE: HOW TO STAY HEALTHY?
27 February 2017
Today i'd thought i'd write up a few tips that are easy and afforable that everyone can do to try and stay healthy. When I say Healthy I mean physically and mentally.
Exercise- I know this cliche but exercise really helps the body! Physically it helps bone health, reduces the risk on high blood-pressure which can cause strokes and heart disease. Mentally exercise can reduce Anxiety and depression. It relieves stress and can help you sleep better and generally boosts your mood. You don't have to spend lots of money on a gym membership, head down to your local park and do a few laps around the pond.
Drink Water: Again another obvious one but alot of us don't do it. Drinking water reduces fatigue, treats headaches, helps digestion and flush out toxins as well as keeping our bodies hydrating and energised. Not drinking enough water can lead to serious health issues and it's free! You get it from a tap at home, even bottled water is so cheap!
Go to the Pharmacy: When we do get sick most of us call the doctors! Most pharmacists will be able to help you with so many day to day illnesses and can give you products that can be bought over the counter before you even visit the doctor. You can also reputable websites like The Independent Pharmacy where you can browse the site for your symptoms by going through the conditions and then they recommend a treatment for you and you can order straight from the site. For people who don't have time to go to the doctors or chemist this is a convenient way to get your medicine. They also have an Online Doctor Service so you can get the help you need to finding our what illness you have.
Have a positive outlook on life : I think by trying to be a more positive person and having a positive outlook on life you can be a healthier minded person. I really struggled for a while and would always see the worst in people and life but now i'm more optimistic and think more about whats going on behind closed doors and that you shouldn't always assume. Give people the benefit of the doubt!
I have a book all about mindfulness that I find good to flick through and also like to do abit of yoga!
Move around more : With us all sat at computers all day and we get the bus or tube to work our bodies are not moving enough. I actually have a job where i'm on my feet all day and i'm sometimes running around all day. I also walk to work and it makes me feel so much happier and ready for the day that I used to feel when I got the bus. Being a little more phyiscally active with have endless benefits on your health.

FASHION: SPRING PICKS FROM COAST
24 February 2017
Spring is nearly here! So get those Pastels out! I thought i'd share some of my favourite pieces from Coast this Spring as they have some gorgeous bits.
Spring fashion is always very pastel and pretty. I'm loving the lace and pretty florals!
How cute is this blush pink lace bardot top, it's just so nice and would be so easy to wear either with some skinny jeans or tucked into a pretty skirt. I love this grey lace skirt, it would be so versatile and dress us any tops. Grey is one of my favourite colours right now. I really love the bardot style tops and think they are going to be so perfect for Spring, they can be so flattering! This floral one is lovely! I love the bell sleeves! A pretty jacket like this is perfect for those Spring weddings and as a cover up over your pretty tops. How cute is this floaty lace blush pink skirt? I think its so pretty and would be really easy to dress up for a wedding or another occasion. I would wearing this with a white or black 3/4 sleeve top for the spring season or you could wear a blush pink lace top so it looks like a dress for more of an occasion.
What are your favourite trends for Spring? I'm so excited for Spring and Summer to get here, i'm bored of the cold and wet weather!

BEAUTY: LUXURY SKINCARE WISHLIST
23 February 2017
With spring on the way it's time to refresh your skincare. I thought i'd put together a Luxury skincare wishlist and share a few bits and pieces that i'd love to add to my skincare regime.
I have put together a selection of different products and brands and will share what they do and why I would love to have them in my collection.
Tata Harper Hydrating Floral Essence is an oil free moisturiser. Full of natural hyaluronic acid and retains moisture to keep even dry skin feeling soft and nourished. The Dermalogica Phyto Replenish Oil is a daily use treatment oil that solves dryness and dehydration and leaves skin looking healthy and luminous.
I thought i'd include a lip balm, I always hear rave reviews about the By Terry Baume De Rose!
Sunday Riley, Luna Sleeping Night Oil, is another product that i've seen thoughout the blogger world. I'm currently using the Kiehls Midnight Recovery Oil concentrate before bed but would love to give this a try.
I really need to try the Pixi Double Cleanse, i'm not a huge fan of the Pixi Glow Tonic but I think a Solid Oil and gentle cream formula sound right up my street! These Anne Semonin Express Radiance Ice Cubes sound so intriguing, to be used fresh from the freezer the cold temperature calms, de-puffs, tightens, lifts and brightens the eye area.
Blue Moon Cleansing Balm by Sunday Riley is another product that i've seen raved by beauty bloggers and I would love to try it. I am a fan of Cleansing Balms so when my current one runs out I may purchase this. The Omorovicza Ultramoor mudmask contains natural acids to detoxify and cleanse the skin to leave your conplexion clear and bright.
This is a luxury skincare wishlist so the products are quite expensive but they are all products that have amazing reviews and are raved about throughout the beauty industry. Do you have any favourite luxury skincare products? Whats your favourite skincare brand?

BEAUTY: RIMMEL BROW THIS WAY
22 February 2017
Sorry i've been a bit quiet recently, i've got lots going on right now. I'm working part time but doing a few extra hours at work, i'm also going to the gym and i've started making handmade cards with my spare time. I haven't had much time to blog and i've been struggling with what to blog about. I'm going to start writing more beauty product reviews. Today I thought i'd go through my new brow routine which includes the latest release from Rimmel which is their Brow This Way brow filling powder product.*
Brow this way is a 3 in 1 soft brow powder. It's so easy to use, the applicator is so good. It lasts really well. The staying power is really good and it lasts all day. I've been using the NYX Micro Brow pencil to outline my brows and then using the Brow This Way powder to fill my brows. You don't need alot of powder. You don't need to press it hard as a good amount of product comes out. As I said its really easy to use. I have been using the Soap and Glory Archery Brow Fibre Gel to set. I've actually recently repurchased this as it's so good. I've been using the Medium Brown Brow This Way and this is a good shade, it's possibly a little dark for me but the blonder shade was too light. They also do it in a black, blonde and dark brown ( my mom pinched the dark brown)
I am really impressed with the Brow This Way Powder, it's so easy to use and it makes my brows look sooo good! I've taken a before and after picture below so check that out to see how good my brows look.

LIFESTYLE: THINGS TO DO WITH THE KIDS DURING HALF TERM
12 February 2017
I remember as a kid always doing cool things through half term and thought i'd share a few of my favourite things to do during a week off. Even now as an adult when I have a week off work I book little days out and adventures for Clint and I.
I've tried to put together a list of things that are affordable and you don't have to travel very far.
1. Mini Golf / Bowling / Lazer Tag - There are some really fun activities you can do when the kids are off school. Clint and I love Bowling and Mini Golf and get pretty competitive. You can usually get good discounts and offers online so check those out before you go. You can sometimes save money by pre-booking too.
2. Theme Park- We love going to theme parks and they are a great day out for the kids, especially if they are a bit older. You can get some really good deals for Alton Towers and there's always 2 for 1 vouchers floating around. They also do offers when you stay at their hotel.
3. Go to the seaside! The nearest seaside town to Birmingham is Weston Super Mare, we love driving there in the summer to get away and chill on the sand. We bring a blanket, get some fish and chips and relax for the day. When we were younger my parents always drove us to Weston and Blackpool during half term or on a Bank Holiday and we would play in the arcade and build sandcastles and at Blackpool we would go to the little theme park and go on the rides.
4. Go to a new park, bring the bikes along and check out somewhere new. Try a new park, leave the phones at home and spend a bit of time outdoors.
5. Go to London for the day! We love visiting different cities, and it's so easy to just jump on the train. You can get some good deals if you buy an advance ticket and you usually get 2 for 1 on main attractions so check this out before you travel. We always get 2 for 1 for the main attractions in London. Check out websites like Topdogdays.com for lots of vouchers for attractions and apps like Vouchercloud or Vouchercodes for deals on food and restaurants.
6. My little cousins love to bake! This is such a cheap and easy thing to do. No matter what the weather and if you have no money you can make Cornflake cakes or brownies or cupcakes that they can decorate. The possibilities are endless and just search online for affordable recipes if you don't want to spend loads.
These are a few of my favourite things to do when we have time off and I loved doing things like this during Half Term. What are your favourite things to do when the kids are off school.

6 February 2017
So Valentines Day is a week away so I thought i'd pop together a few gift ideas ready for next week.
I know not everyone buys gifts for Valentines and Clint and myself don't normally go all out, we usually have a small budget for eachother so i've picked out some affordable gift ideas.
First up is Lush goodies, I love lush and they are a really affordable gifts that most people will be really happy to receive. I've picked up a few of my favourites from the Valentines collection. I got Ladybird bubble bar which i'm so excited to use as its a floral scent filled with sweet geranium oil and peppermint oil to give a menthol hint to the mix.
I also picked up Loverlamp which is a bath bomb, with orange, vanilla and cocoa butter it is just perfect for me, I can't wait to have a bath with this one.
I also got the Cupid bath bomb which is a rose and violet leaf scent.
I got sent some gorgeous new bras sets from Freya! I love getting new Lingerie and freya are one of my favourite brands. I'm loving the Freya Fancies longline in candy which is this gorgeous pink shade, I've already got the longline in Black and it's such a comfy bra and it's soo pretty. I love the new Retro Bloom range too, I have the plunge style but this also comes in a longline version. The print is lovely and perfect for Valentines.
Why not do something different and get outdoors this Valentines Day? On the 10th Feb Go Ape in Trent Park you can go on a Blind Date with a twist as they are hosting a free singles event.
Go Ape is also offering couples 20% off during Valentines Week ( Mon 13th-Fri 17th Feb) using the code FEBPR ( mon- fri only)
I love these Mugs from Chickidee they have these fun quotes on and are perfect for couples. They are really affordable and are perfect for Valentines Day. Whether you've been with your partner for a long time or are a new couple they have something for everyone.
How cute are these cookies from Crabtree and Evelyn, they are lovely shortbread style biscuits with strawberry and white chocolate. They sent these over with a selection of their Valentines hand creams. They have some lovely scents for Valentines and the hand creams are really good. Check out their Valentines collection here.
What are your plans for Valentines Day? Clint and I have planned to go for dinner and we've booked tickets to watch the new Fifty Shades film which should be good!
