Today I thought i'd share my make up brush collection with you guys. I was cleaning my brushes the other day and thought this would be the perfect chance to take some photos and share my brush collection with you.
I clean my brushes regularly, and have had some of them for years! I use a bar of Simple soap and my Spectrum cleaning brush to clean my brushes and I find this works well for me.
I have a selection of brands that I use from Real Techniques, Spectrum, EcoTools, Look Good Feel Better, Lab2 and a few more.
1. Powder Brushes. I love my Spectrum Powder brushes and these are the ones I use everyday. I normally have the Powder brush* from the Marbelous Set on my dressing table and the pink one* in my handbag. I have had the Real Techniques one for years and tend to use this one when my others are really dirty or drying.
2. Blusher/ Bronzer and Highlighter brushes.
First up is one of the Spectrum Marbelous brushes, this is the Luxe Tapered Sculptor brush which a good all round blusher and bronzer brush. You can use this to set your powder or for highlighting, it's a great all rounder.
Next is the Real Techniques Blusher brush, I've had this for years and it's still in great condition. This to me is the perfect blusher brush, it's easy to use and you can easily build up and blend your product.
Next my EcoTools Blusher brushes, *I use these for bronzer, again they are really easy to buff out your product for a subtle look but easy to build up for a night out.
Finally the Look Good Feel Better Duo Fibre Foundation brush* is a lovely brush, I use it again to apply highlighter or to set the under-eye, I haven't used this with foundation yet but I'm going to give it a try and see what I think.
3. Base Brushes. ( from left to right)
First up is one of the Real Techniques Bold Metals brush *, this is one of my favourite brushes. I use it for highlighter but have also used it to buff my concealer. It's a great all rounder!
Next is the Look Good Feel Better * angled contour brush which i've used for bronzer or highlighter.
Next is the Spectrum Buffing brush*, I use this to apply foundation, it creates a lovely even finish and is really easy to use.
Most of my eye-shadow brushes are Spectrum, I usually stock up at the Clothes Show or they sell them individually on their website so I pick a few up when I place a cheeky order. My Favourite brush is the large shadow brush, A06 * which is a fluffy shader brush. I use these to apply shadow to the lid but I also find these so easy to blend out eye-shadows. I think they are really good brushes and I use them all the time!
I have a few other eye-shadow brushes that I like such as the Lab2 brushes *, these are really soft and comfortable brushes. They are really easy to use and really affordable and easy to get hold of as you can get them in Superdrug. My Favourite is the Let's start all over Shadow Brush which is a big fluffy brush to get shadow all over the lid.
The Real Techniques Bold Metals Pointed Crease * brush is one of my favourites, it makes creating a smokey look super easy!
* I have marked pr samples with an * This post is honest and my own views/opinions. I have not been paid for this post.
